I was looking at the built up version (presumably of this kit) in a Pop Culture shop yesterday (ZING - Penrith) and looks really nice, that particular example had a standard short production hull and I believe the wider tracks. Eagerly awaiting my pre order now. I was tempted to get the Prebuilt Girls und Panzer one but at $140 Aud it can stay there.

That's where I got my copy. Now, if I could just find a picture of a real Mk.1 with a short hull my anal retentive rivet counting nature will be satisfied!

Not 15 mins after posting my last the mail arrived with a shiny Cent Mk 1 I have had on pre order for nearly a year. First impressions are Cent Mk 1 not early A41 , Nice early Hull and turret OK.

The bummer of it is that I've never been able to find any evidence that the Mk.1's were ever fielded with short hulls so out of the box you can't model an actual built vehicle. Also, the Mk.1's had smoke grenade launchers which don't appear to be in the kit. I would expect/hope that Accurate Armor releases an update kit using their conversion sets to address these issues.
