Has anyone purchased these two sets of resin figures from China on Aliexpress? The sets look perfect for the Meng Toyota pick up.

These are figure sets from AC Models. Don't know if they are originals or Chinese knockoffs. Do a search on here for AC Models. Hobby Easy sells them, as does Red Lancers and a few EBay sellers.
AC are pretty good. Not as crisp castings as the likes of Alpine or such, but the subject matter and poses more then make up for that.

Thanks Jon. I found the posts on Armorama.
I suspect this Ali Express vendor maybe selling knock offs because I saw other figures sets they listed and I remember clearly they were produced by TANK. I wished injection plastic companies would produce more sets of vehicle riders.

Yes, they do; it's where I brought my (only) AC Models' figure.
Sadly, this would be about the only way I can afford AC Models' figures, great as they are. And i'm not about to do that.

I thought those sets looked familiar, the subject looked useful along with the price. Almost bought them, too. Now I'm glad I listened to the little voice that said "You better not, there's something not quite right about this one." Has anybody let AC Models know about it?

Andy from AC Models is now aware. Tony, can you delete the link please?

Somehow I missed this thread... I removed the links to the figure copies from the original post.
