Hello all,
Does anyone have a clear photo of the device used to secure a road wheel to the bustle rack on an M1A1? I have checked Tanxheaven and didnt see one, I am hoping someone can find one for me, or maybe point me in the right direction. My model is close to being done, painted weathered, just finishing out the crew gear/load. Thanks

A spare center guide (toothed thing in the middle of the track) is used to hold it on. The backside of the center guide is looped through the bustle rack rail and the bolt is threaded through a road wheel mounting hole. The toothed part of the center guide is then placed over the bolt to hold the road wheel in place and the center guide nut is tightened onto the bolt.

I do not have one of an M1 handy. I do have one of an old M60A3TTS. This one has both a road wheel and support roller attached, but it's the same idea. I hope it comes out clear enough for you to see:
