There is a problem with "the little red & white poles" (Aiming Stakes) on both the Trumpeter and the Dragon kits. Both manufacturer's painting instructions tell you to PAINT THE WRONG POLES red & white.
Interestingly enough however the Dragon box cover art GETS IT RIGHT!


On the Dragon cover art the CORRECT poles are shown in red & white but NOT on the instruction sheet!
There are a total of three aiming stakes mounted on the gun trails. In addition to that there are two leverage poles, two shovels, one hatchet, one pick-axe and finally the ramming rod. (Plus whatever that cylindrically shaped object is on the left trail - I have not identified that one - unless it is the "crash cone" for removing mis-fired live shells.)
