This is really cool! The details all over it and the fine weathering make this totally realistic. Did you base this on a photo or similar reference? And do you have further plans, i.e. a dio of some sort? Thanks for sharing a unique build!

Just one question:
Did paratroops bring repair facilities with them on aerial assualts?
I realise that the lightweight trailers were probably not dropped with parachutes, more likely landed with gliders et.c.
Did they really use glider/transport capacity to bring in repair trailers?
How does that fit in with operational doctrine et.c ?
No, I have absolutely no experience with paratroops, neither directly nor from reading their operational doctrine/manuals et.c. It just feels strange to bring repair facilities.
If I were to go camping, I don't like camping but IF I were to go, I wouldn't bring tools and materials to repair things I didn't expect to break. If I suspected that something was likely to break I might bring spares but not a small repair shop.

Well I don’t know or care much about camping but Christophe, that’s a superbly rendered trailer – beautifully built, beautifully weathered

Thanks guys!
First of all, this link 'll give you a lot of informations about para trailers : http://hmvf.co.uk/forumvb/showthread.php?27455-British-WWII-REME-Lightweight-Electrical-Repair-Trailer-Restoration-Project
I'm not sure but i think this trailer was only used by "the road", not by gliders or parachutes.
No dio or vignette for the moments. Maybe later...
For now, this trailer is the property of Resicast, for models show.

The trailers were taken by glider to Arnhem. We still did the same when I served as a modern day Airborne REME soldier, although tge trailers and vehicles were droppeed by C130...al airborne operations have REME support.
