What kits need this? Aren't the foundry marks on any of the styrene KTs?

That was my point too before I broke-down into illiterate gabbering. I meant to say earlier "are the stock pieces so terrible that they would need this so-called upgrade?" The foundry marks are easy to replicate by simply shaving a styrene numeral off a sprue which hardly qualifies this as important as an acquisition.

Gents, the comment on the foundry markings is from my own, as I lack all information regarding the advantages of this set over the kit's part...
