Hey guys
Just finished work on my early command Tiger. The kit is Dragons Wittmann's Tiger which I added a few aerials and figures too. I will eventually get round to painting up a few figures to go on the back, completely finishing it.

Very nice build so far. I think you can go a little farther with the weathering. The running gear is remarkably clean, given the amount of dirt on the vehicle sidewalls and mudguards. Might want to dirty up the roadwheels a bit more. It's not brand new--it's been in service long enough to lose a tire, so I would expect it to be a bit more filthy, with less bright metal on the tools and cables.

Did you forget to apply the S-mine launcher tubes?

No, I left them off intentionally as they were very commonly removed by the crews.

Nice build, but like Gerald said, it needs to be dirtied up more. Especially on the upper surfaces. Also (and David will correct me if I'm wrong), command Tigers had the turret MG removed to make room for another radio. The piping on their uniforms should be more pink and less red.

Yeah, your correct the MG was removed and they fitted a Fu5 in its place. I wasn't aware of that until you said it. They removed a fair bit from the interior for the command Tiger. Including 26 rounds which is surprising.
I do agree that it needs more mud, but I will do that when I add the extra figures.
Thanks for the feedback

That's correct, Command Tigers had no turret MG. The hole was plugged up or was never there.
The S-mine tubes were welded to their bases. If they were removed then only the brackets would remain on the tank. See:

And throw some rust on those tow cables!! Way too shiny. A quick wash of black followed by one of rust will tone it down nicely!
