Agree. Also how about a 1/16 Panzer III, Stug or Hetzer Dragon?

But there are no 1/16 scale action figures. It's all about the action figures!

There was a time when this would have been just so incredible - in the days when even this was just a dream:

A bit over 80 cm or 31,6 inches long ..... I think I'll stick with my 1/35 braille scale stuff. When old age makes my eyesight so weak that I 'll need to build in 1/6:th scale I will probably have stopped modelling ... / Robin

This is not a new kit. It was originally released in 2011 for about $250, same item number.
http://www.dragon-models.com/d-m-item.asp?pid=DRA75025 I have all the other 1/6 Dragon kits except this one so I'll probably spring for it unless it is much more expensive now. Last one I saw was $350 and I passed on it.

It may be a new "kit" as the previous one came in built up form. The LHS owner I used to work for ordered two of them, and at the time the MSRP was near $600 for the built up version. We ended up selling both of ours for about $200, losing lots of money in the process. Frankly, the built up version was lacking detail and seemed more like a toy, with many toylike features, so if this "kit" is just the old version in kit form, it won't satisfy many AMS model builders.

Hi
My money's on it being the same old "kit" as before, lacking in detail and made primarily for the "dollie" collectors.

This was available as a kit in the gray and in DAK camo a few years back, as I was a member of a "dollie" collector site and a couple of the larger scale guys had purchased a couple and posted their build logs.
Granted, not a lot of parts but they were kits nonetheless. I was thinking of getting one back then for my daughter's Barbies (I had given her a 12" G.I.Joe to play the uncle who was a vet) but the price was a bit much for a girl's play toy. She had to settle for a Schwimmwagen instead.

Interesting Russ that the original 2011 ad, description, and photos indicate it comes as a kit (re: the link) but you actually got them and they were built up. Glad I didn't go for it then as I would have been pretty disappointed at that. The other Panzer II and Sherman I have are kits and fairly decent at a couple hundred dollars each.
I agree that the level of detail is not as good as you would expect at that scale but adding some scratch built parts is not too difficult and with a little work they can be made into a pretty nice model. Not like an 800 piece 1/35 kit but fun and impressive in its own way. However you will need a good bit of space and a LOT of paint.

Turns out the DAK version was an Ausf C, not B.
Yes, barely a kit; mostly something neat to display the figures on.

You can add a sdkfz 250/251, a not overpriced schwimmwagen and zundapp, even a real tiger I..
there is to much to do in 1/16..

Here version B:
https://www.super-hobby.com/products/Pz.Kpfw-II-Ausf.-B.html and here's C:
https://www.super-hobby.com/products/Pz.Kpfw.II-Ausf.-C.html As for details, they are reasonably easy to add. When you look at 1:1 tank, it also looks like it lacks details

1/6 scale modellers loved and bought many units of the Dragon range for that scale. I don't understand why the latter cut the series off.
