I'm doing my first camo attempt on a Panther A using Vallejo air.
What do you all recommend for a setting for camo patterns using Vallejo air?
Any other tips and advice are appreciated.
Thanks

John, I'd suggest using acrylic paint retarder, something like one drop for ten of paint, otherwise you may find the paint dries in the nozzle and stops the flow. Remember also the paint should be quite thin, milk consistency, for which you can use water or acrylic thinner, but don't over do the retarder to more than one in four drops.
Despite the name of the paint, it's not necessarily the easiest to use in an airbrush. I think the pressure should be 15-20lbs, though others may disagree. Keep the coats light and quick in terms of keeping the brush moving, and if you start to get the paint pooling together in little blobs, don't panic, just wait for it to fully set, then you should find subsequent coats go on more easily and will look even and smooth.
Suggest practising on a spare model with the same surface preparation before committing to your actual build.
