Hello all, does anyone here have any comments regarding the accuracy of the BlackDog Falklands Figures set? It seems to be the only ones I can find online and want to make sure of their quality. Thanks!

Quality is good on the whole, but I would have preferred to see Belgian FN rifles supplied.

I see black dog offers an FN FAL accessory kit, would these be difficult to replace onto the figures?

The M16A1s with the Royal Marine figures are not moulded to the hands so the swap should be simple for the FNs. The pistol grip on the M16 and FN rifles are of a very similar angle so the figure hands should work easily.

I would be care with the FN FAL kit, the rifle looks sspicious to me. The butt stock has a strange shape. For FN FAL I will go with the old Italeri modern weapon ste.

It's hard to carry a GPMG like that! Never seen any photos of a real one being carried that looked as light as that one does.

M16s were common in recce units such as M&AW Cadre, as contemporary photographs show.
