I am well along on my 1967 AFV Club IDF Shot Centurion, but have just gotten the Sabingamartin book about the first IDF Shot tanks. It appears that the instructions for the Mark 5 Shot don't match most of the photos in the book. For example, the kit instructions don't have the telephone wire reel attached to the turret (the parts are in the kit, though), and the antenna bases the instructions tell you to use are not the ones seen on Mark 5s in the book (again, the 'correct' parts are in the box). Perhaps AFV Club used a specific tank to base the kit on, but this doesn't appear to be the equipment on the most 'common' tanks, based on the book pictures. All this just for information for builders of this kit.

Well, AFV Club's kit is for the Six-Day War. Volume 1 covers to about 1961. You'd have to wait until Volume 2 to see how they really appear in the war.

That's really good news! It's possible to build two different versions
