Looks they had assistance from the Israeli Defense Industry.

One of my favorite T-55 variants, But I think I read somewhere that it has been retired from service. I wish someone would release this version, or at least a conversion.

there is (was) a conversion avail. from AEF design, needed a lot of work but with all the T55 kits around you should be able to make a reasonable model of it I did, I used the Tamiya T55A kit I could send you a few photos if you want just message me with your email

I know about the AEF conversion John, but it isn't available anymore. I'd love to see the photos of your build, but wouldn't you like to post them here?

I would buy this immediatly in plastic, next to a M-84 MBT.
