Hi,
Currently on the bench.
Its the M103A2, that's been downgraded to A1 standard. Most parts are inside the box. Aluminium barrel and resin mantlet added (yes I know, M103 A2 mantlet... so that is a A1 1/2 !), plus plasticard.
Then Tamiya XF62 is sprayed, and I added a Games Workshop wash on the engine deck.
Cheers,
Richard

Were those ever actually used on the M103? Not judging, mind you, just curious.

Hi,
Thanks
The fuel tanks rack seems to have been used on the M103A1.

I had to build it from scratch with evergreen profiles and sprues.
Richard
Thanks

Thank you for that Richard, I like the job you did on the fuel drum racks.

Very nice work. And the addition of the fuel drums is a great idea in order to make the model stand out.

I agree with you Nikos... Unforgivable mistake with the exhaust casing.

Hi Gents,
Here is a little update, with oil spots and pin washes (raw umber).
Pigments next.
And I'll have to handle the wheels and tracks I left a bit behind til now.
Richard

The turret alone is the size of a WW II Stuart.
