Would Tamiya's 1/35 Cromwell Mk IV (35221) be a good canidate for a model of those used in the 1948 war? I have seen pictures of the one at Latrun museum marked 457 with two diagonal stripes and another (provenance unknown by me) marked 458.

As I understand, the IDF used Cromwell Mk III and IV's during the 1948 war. THe Tamiya kit should do fine.
