Would Tamiya's 1/35 Cromwell Mk IV (35221) be a good canidate for a model of those used in the 1948 war? I have seen pictures of the one at Latrun museum marked 457 with two diagonal stripes and another (provenance unknown by me) marked 458.

As I understand, the IDF used Cromwell Mk III and IV's during the 1948 war. THe Tamiya kit should do fine.

Thanks for your reply. What an interesting set of photos. This will help on any future project I attempt.
