Hi everyone, my Firefly is now finished, and will be going into a show this weekend. Kit is from Dragon, and you can read about my trials and tribulations on the build for this in other threads...This build was more experimental, I wanted to try using modulation of Olive Drab paints, filters and washes, all from the Ammo line, I was pretty happy with the products for sure! It was fun trying to paint and weather in a totally different way than I'm used to.

Outstanding craftsmanship as always. Really like the 'battle worn' look, showing the wear and tear, and the mud effects all contribute to the presentation. Everything you've done ties this beauty all together as does your paint "modulation". Very effective and quality work. It should do well at the Show. Best of luck,
Mike

Thanks guys, while building the tank tested my patience, trying a new painting and weathering style (well to me at least) was super fun. Usually I slap a wash over everything and do a bit of drybrushing and call it done. This time I used a filter, and localized pin washes. I just realized in one of the pictures I forgot to paint the bloody headlights! Gotta get that done before Saturday. Here's a pic of the majority of the products used for the build.
