So I was trying to do a black wash over an acrylic clear coat. The problem is that my acrylic paint is got eaten as I was cleaning the excess black paint. What did I do wrong?
I use revell acrylic clear varnish, revell color mix (thinner) and revell enamel flat black paint.

Also you might want to try white spirits or something not as "hot" or aggressive as a thinner when you wash.
