I just finished the Bronco DAK Stug,it wasn't bad,but I would have rather done a Dragon Stug any day.

As you can see, this version has the filters mounted on the fenders......not raised up like the other version....

Perusing photos indicate the air filters were in fact mounted both ways.
That said the African StuGs all seem to have had theirs on brackets above the fender and air intakes.

The bronco version had both the brackets for the high filters, and the piping to put them on the fender.

I'm a fan of dragon StuG kits.... And I've been hoping for a "DAK" StuG ever since Bronco came out with their punt. So, "Yay!". That said; I'll hope that Dragon offers options on the air-filter placement to reflect the photo evidence showing how they were actually done in north Africa. And... I strongly hope that the D includes those spare torsion-bars that photos show were mounted on the lower hull-sides on the "DAK" specimens. Hope springs eternal!

Knew it was only a matter of time before dragon offered this version, hot on the heels of the Bronco kit, and yes I've been waiting! Let the drooling begin!
