Hi all!
Here is my latest work, Panzer IV of Ghost Division. It is the good old Tamiya 35096 kit with some upgrade: Voyager photo etch and Master Club metal tracks. Weathered with AK blue wash and various MIG pigments.
Regards

awesome work!! looking forward to seeing the finished project; I have two of these in my stash and an LHS near me has one in stock (which I've thought of buying); an older kit but a good one; like the detailing with the PE and chains, etc.

Thanks!
As for the project, the location is Yugoslavia, 1941.
I've started to make a rock wall diorama. Its base is PU foam, which is covered with a wallpaper glue-grout mix.

But later I thought that the base would be better for my T-90. Chechnya, Caucasus...
I don't know. Still hesitate.

Antal

What do you think which tank suits better to the base? I really can not decide.

Definitely T-72.
If the Pz IV had been Afrika or Desert Yellow it could possibly have worked.
That wall reminds me of the film 'Beast of War'

The clips have the same initial sequence.

Hi Robin!
The wall is not yet finished. It can be a yugoslavian terrain if I paint it with a greyish colour.
But I also think it is better for the russian tank, so no need to change its colour.

I know that movie, one of my favourites.

Here is the result.
At first I painted the rocks with Tamiya Acrylic XF-19 Sky Grey. Then I washed the surface a black-brown enamel wash and applied a bit of brown and green pigments at some places. Lastly I drybrushed the edges with white enamel paint.
Sorry for the quality, I will make better and closer images at natural light.

Great work with the Box-Panzer IV. I'd also not add the Pz IV to that base, it does not look as good as the other tank once done, I'd bet.
