Can somebody point me to the correct colour
I've got a few Russian modern vehicles Like a Maz, max tank transporter, uaz and the Sam-6 but I'm unsure of the colour I know kit do a colour set for modern Russian vehicles I've worked out the main colour is khaki green? But I'm not 100% to me doesn't seem like the right colour to me.. I havnt bought one there paint sets as I wouldn't use all the paints (intermediate in painting ) so some may just sit around idle
Can someone tell me which colour green is best in Vallejo?

All help greatly apreciated

Hi;

From what I have seen it look's like Olive Drab, altho it seems to be different depending on which Zavod the Vehicle came from. Trying to Judge there correct color is hard, but you mite look at the set's made by Mig as they made some new set's

I'e used the Mig Ammo Russian paints. I an not testify to the accuracy, but the look right. 056 -Green Khaki and 083 -zashchithiy zeleno are suppose to be the two old war era shades (056 seems a bit lighter with a brown tinge to me. The 083 seems darker, greener) The 053 is reputed to be the current shade (seems to be a bluish tinge) They are in the 7143 set. There is a 7160 set that covers from 1935 to current day. It has a small pamphlet that shows the history of Russian greens. I have managed to pull up the pamphlet on line as a PDF file. From what I've seen Warsaw Pact rigs seem different. DDR seems greyish, Czech looks brownish. Romanian looks like a dark green, not olive.
