Finishing dragon models 6383 and using tank 221 as the final product and have a few questions. I have seen pics (via google) of 221 with black numbers white outline and no spare tracks in front and also red numbers white outline with spare tracks in front. Where there two tanks with the same numbering ?? I am doing the red numbered version so, Spare tracks in front or not ??

Thank you

Jeff

There probably was a Tiger #221 in every heavy tank battalion.

There were many tanks numbered 221. That number is defined as 2nd Company, 2nd platoon, tank #1. That system would apply for most units. So, yes there are two tanks numbered 221.
