Hi
Saw this on the chinese modelling news site. Meng releasing the Merkava 4M with trophy APS
http://www.moxingfans.com/new/news/2017/1028/4206.html
They also releasing the M911 C-HET with M747 trailer.
http://www.moxingfans.com/new/news/2017/1028/4207.html
Seems trumpeter also jumping onto M911 bandwagon with a release on their facebook page.

That's trumpeter hobby boss style. They do this to grab market share.
If you want a cheaper model go for the trumpeter hobby boss versions of competing kits they will rocie these kits lower than the competition.

Interesting, 2 companies with plastic kits, and 2 companies that made kits in Resin!

Perhaps it's due to the angle of the photo, but there is something in the Merkava turret shape that doesn't look right for me...
The lower part of the side armor looks a bit too high. Just take a look at the photo of the actual vehicle shown below the model's one.
This is just a comment from a single picture of the model, I might be completely wrong. Let's wait and see...
Anyway, I will surely "need" one of these.

Looks like we are getting a bunch of new Merkava kits. The Takom Merkava has extra parts including the Mk II spiderweb wheel

Amen to that!
The boxart is phenomenal; at first glance, I thought it was a photo. The number of antennas doesn't seem to match the tactical markings though...Interestingly, the 4M is followed by a 2D. A hint about their next Merkava variant in the pipeline perhaps...?

Dear Hugo
You haven't reached the wedding yet, and you indicate that the bride is ugly.
Never in the history of Merkava scale models, a model was done so much based on drawings and measurements.
Hope you will like it.

That's a really descriptive and colourful way of saying that a comment or opinion is premature. Note to myself: Store and remember for future use.
Is it a Hebrew phrase? Collecting knowledge about other languages is my second hobby and this expression is interesting. I assume that in historical times the groom had not seen the bride before the wedding?

I think that the whole difference can be explained with the viewing angle. In pictures of the real thing the lower surfaces of the turret are obscured by shadow which tends to hide them. (I wonder if that "ring of shade" shows up in thermal viewers ..)
On this webpage there are a few images of a th Mk IV, most with shaded lower surfaces and two with light on them.
http://defense-update.com/directory/merkava4.htm
Notice how the lower surfaces seem larger in the non-shaded view.

Ha Ha Robin,
No.. just something came out of my mind.
Seen a remark in another forum, full with poison and critisizm. Well, we live in a great period of IDF modeling in particular, and so many models materials and techniques on the other hand.
So.. thats what poped up..
Agree about old ages when grooms noticed the brides only in wedding. We have that fact so popular within arabs and radical orthodox jews.
