for an early M1 Abrams. the ones included with pandas version are rather similar to tamiyas, tho a coupla unit versions were added. prob with the paint callout sheet, it doesn't identify any of them. did a google which only came up with A1/2s. thx

All the schemes on the sheet appear in the old Squadron/Signal M1 in Action. A couple of the bumper codes on the Panda sheet don't look right or complete.
Like 1C13? Shouldn't that be 1^13?

not really sure what it should be. it DOES have ^AC 1BG. maybe 1C13 is supposed to be equal/similar to JZ00TL, and part of the Armor Center.
there's a lot similar to tams early version. fortunately, not the mistakes, but at least they created NEW ones

JZ00TL is the U.S.A. registration number and is not a unit designation for the Armor Center. 1BG ^A.C. is First Brigade armor training center. Or at least it was when I was there in 1988.

I knew JZ wasn't a unit. just sayin it's the same as what's on tams early decals for M1. if I'm not mistaken, 3I 2-64 was stationed in W. Germany, would it's tank have had JZ00TL on them?

Generic black codes. Sadly the interesting markings are already on the sheet. Most M1 wore just bumper codes and the occasional name. If you want to do a later refurbished one in National Guard markings we had some colorful ones covered in chalk graffiti.

yup, on the sheet with NO bumper codes, unless that's how it was supposed to be. got another OTW and not really keen on both being of the same pltn. thx anyway

now that I'm not sure of, but seeing as I'm pretty much stuck with the kit decals, and the dearth of AM decals for early 80s, I saw somewhere that 3I 2-64 was stationed in W. Germany. the spare decals from my M1A1 AIM aren't suitable except for 1I 1-77 Steel Tigers but that was in 2k3. all the rest on that sheet are for iraq
