I have the MiniArt 37014 1/35 T-54-1 non-interior kit that comes with glue-able links that DO NOT work...YET I have heard from a couple sources that they are in fact "workable" links. So...my question to you learned types...what's the correct answer...? Do I have a "one off" kit with the wrong tracks, or ...??? They also offer a separate track link set but do not actually SAY in the company web page if they actually articulate, which is strange since the torsion bars appear to be workable, which would mean they too will not function properly to move wheels up and down since the tracks would be glued solid...??!!?

Are these still wrong? Are the Fruil tracks the ones to get?

No answer to wrong/right but Sergey (MasterClub) says MTL-35048

I built the T-44, and the tracks were supposed to be workable, but really were not. The connecting pins were too fragile and easily broke off when trying to put them together. I went with MasterClub tracks.

So what does " workable tracks " really mean ? Can you put them on the kit and then have them move with the sprocket as you push the the tank across the floor making engine noises ( like when you were 7 )? Or does it mean that you can adjust them to show track sag or have them off the return rollers to simulate a thrown or damaged track , something you couldn't do with link & length or rubber band type track ?

I think it means that it is a lot of tedious WORK to assemble them

Most or maybe all workable tracks work to the extent that it is possible to assemble the track, wrap it around the suspension and then close the last link.
I prefer to glue them stiff anyway and shape them in sections to fit the sprocket et.c. and get the wanted sag.

I told thehermit about the Master Club tracks, MTL35075, over in the Soviet forum and was told they are the wrong tracks. So I was curious why they were wrong there, but correct here.

I looked at the kit on the MiniArt site and the kits is supposed to have the tracks like the MTL35075 tracks. The kit is 37003 with interior, and 37014 no interior. Not sure why Sergey at Master Club says to use the OMSh tracks.

There is also a Fruil set for the model, so I was also wondering if that set was better than the Master Club set.

better depends on if you wanna either cut wire or insert resin pins. personally, I prefer pins
