Long time no post. So here's my ESCI Magach after it's second overhaul.

Very nice. Love how natural it looks, like a real tank.

Superb work!!!
Just for discussion purposes, the double machine gun was only tested on one specific vehicle I think, not used.

Beautifully done, it does give an impression of a real tank! The tracks could benefit from a bit of tensioning though...
The use of the Tavor assault rifle however, is rather odd; an M4 (or a short barrelled Galil better still) would be favourable. I'm also not aware of mixed usage of a 0.30 cal and an FN MAG on the same tank. Nevertheless, the Tavor and a 0.30 cal are representing completely different time frames.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for looking & the nice comments. I appreciate your close attention to details which helps to improve my builds. This overhaul was done during my break from building shining F1 kits & is meant as a road sentry duty scene in Lebanon.
I’ve seen pics of the slack in the merkava tracks which are used on this tank & the mixed 0.3 & FN MG mix on the turret. The original M60 tracks are tight.
However am not too sure about the twin MGs on the barrel as mentioned by Nikos.
The IDF girl was actually meant for either my Merk 3D or Merk 4 LIC which are in progress. She’s just a guest in the photo shoot😁. BTW the resin Tavor assault rifle that came with the figure is out of scale as it’s too thin.
This old ESCI kit now contains parts from Meng, Legend, Academy & Tamiya.
Cheers

Now that you wrote it I noticed that the girl is only shown on one photo.
Regarding the .30 cal machine gun, since your vehicle is a Magach 6B Gal it is hghly unlikely that it was used. You need a FN Mag without stock to be fully correct, but this is your model and you call the shots.
How did you do the road?

Oh well, welcome to the scene then...
The Tavor indeed looks a bit out of scale...

Hi Nikos,
Now that you mentioned it, I’ll replace the .30 MG.
😁
Cheers

Period correction done. With a guest appearance by another IDF lady with a Galil this time.
Thanks for the comments again.
