Looking for pics either real or models how to hang logs on the hull sides. The U hooks on front and back appear to be too spread out to take the weight. Were additional hooks mounted or something?

Do you mean the logs they used to use to cross trenches?

I thought they were for additional protection from AT fire but i guess they can be used to cross trenches.

I didn't know it made a difference but it's a US M4A1. The logs are from the Verlinden Sherman Stowage Set.

Got a pic............?
If you'r trying to stop AT fire try sand bags instead..............Another trick was to place spare tracks on top to add a bit of extra protection...........

I know about tracks and sandbag. I am trying to use the logs that came with the Verlinden Sherman Stowage Set. They are supposed to be used on the side of the tank as per the box cover. However I cannot see how they were attached.

OK so a rope is wrapped around the logs. The rope is then attached to the tank at what point? There are no hooks on the side to tie a log. SO I guess they must have field modified their own attachment points.
