See the pictures below as I am wondering what these circles are. They are hollow and raised on the top horizontal plate of the upper hull. I see them in different locations as well which I marked with black dots in one of the pictures to show where they are located although after I took this picture I noticed a couple more towards to front. The instructions show these circles as they are and there are no parts to be glued to these circles. Also, in the picture showing these circles there is also a smaller circle that is too blurry to see that is located on the piece of the upper hull deck that juts out and meant to interlock with the side skirts. I'm too lazy to take another picture...What are these? Should I remove them? They are not ejector pin marks. https://imgur.com/tcVPjAJ
I put a black dot in the middle of these circles to show where the circles are located.

Considering that their locations are mirrored, I'd say they are some engraved details, but I'm not 100% certain.

I've built the V2 Maus, & never even noticed them!
The only thing I can think of are locating points for the fixed boarding ladders in the V1 with the fixed weighted turret?
Maus V1 Pics
If so, sand off for the V2

the v1 has them also (takom)...there are actually locator holes you have to drill out on the inside of the upper hull deck which is for mounting the ladder. I did yesterday see that these circles were present on the vehicle in a picture I found in my maus book...so I think they are supposed to be there but I have no idea why or what they are for

The Maus used pins to interlock the thick armor plates. They were driven flush and held in place with a ring of weld.
They might be to hold an internal structure or bulkhead.
