Small vignette and tutorial

I has been a while since I did a work in progress on re-purposing figs,etc and so here goes a quick one. I am building this for a Christmas present for my youngest sibling.
The dude underway.
He began life as a MasterBox Afrika Korp charging infantryman.I added a Hornet head but removed part of the helmet.
His Tamiya furry friend will be taken from a walking pose to a running pose.
I know it's a repeat of my technique but hopefully new members of the assemblage won't bo too bored.

Any thread of yours, repeat or not, is always a treat! Few can work the magic you do with otherwise ordinary (and often boring!) figures and tell such compelling stories. I'm sure I will pick up something in this one too.

Those are small bits of plastic from stuff laying around the desk. I use these to glue into the large gaps created by moving the pieces around after cutting them. It provides stability when I later add the putty.

Hi Jerry - yes, I still really like these builds of yours! They're always helpful - both in terms of technique and just about being wiling to completely rethink how the figure can be modified - thanks for posting!
