Now this is cool! Does anyone offer a Gerat 36 for it? Was this variant ever offered on, say, an sd kfz 7 chassis?

Looks like a cross between a truck and a sdfkz 7 Mittlere Zugkraftwagen! I like it!

Wow! With just a quick look I missed entirely that this conversion was for the Busing-Nag and not for the half track. Very cool!
I will assume price is the same until I actually see it on your website. Good work.

oops meant to add.. people who reserve the kit the price will be $65. When they are ready to ship I will send an email link so you can finish the order.. after all pre orders are shipped then I will list on the site.
The kit will also include a base plate so you can use the Blisten Crane and mount it on other vehicles so I recommend the AFV Club 4500a with crane as your base kit.
you can reserve the kit by sending me an email at
[email protected]
I will actually start shipping in less then a week though.. just have to make one more mold. Finished all the laser cut drawings/parts today

Impressive, but from the site pic it seems that it is offered on the sd kfz 7, or am I missing something?

BJdeB - Nice touch to also include the crane baseplate so you can use the "big hook" on other vehicles! I had thought of using it with the SS-100 tractor.

Taeuss,
Yes I already offer the SdKfz 7/6 as a separate Kit.. The SdKfz 415 is a new kit that has not been released yet.. This was just a preview of the upcoming release of the 415.. They look similar as they both served the same purpose of towing the KDO 36 and 40 (Bronco Kit)

Thanks, As being a builder first I have always hated adding so many sprues to the parts bin so I am trying to set things up so you can get more then one conversion from a single kit. Granted if you build the SdKfz 6 with crane you would chuck out the bed from the Bronco kit but hey..They the price of conversions when the plastic companies can't make every version of something unless it is a Tiger.

Question: Does the 415 conversion require stretching the Bussing-Nag stock frame? No problem if it does I was just wondering.

For those who perhaps don't recall; Panzer Concepts recently announced the introduction of a conversion kit similar to this one but using the Sd. Kfz. 7 as a starting point.
Both these kits make for the first ever companion for the Bronco Telemeter kit that came out some years ago.
You can check out the other kit at:

No stretching of the frame required.. This was just a drop on cab/bed in real life. It is actually a little longer then SdKfz 7/6 which surprised me when I was scaling what photos I could find.
This actually one of the easiest conversions I have made.. The build is very Straight Forward and pretty simple.. I will have the instructions done in the next few days and will post a link once they are done.
Pre orders should start shipping the first of the week the will have it live on my website right after that.
