Hi folks,
I will have a 120mm USMC trooper in vietnam to paint soon. What would be the best paint references to paint the various greens ?
thanks in advance

Windrow & Greene published a very useful paperback of colour photos of US uniforms worn in SVN. Out of print but still available (Amazon has them, for example). USMC specialists can probably steer you to other sources too.

I just Googled Vietnam Utlities and this came up. The fabric was a medium nondescript green, and faded tward a chalkier color over time.

Vallejo 70-886 Green Gray as a base color is a good starting point.
Use a drop of 70-889 Olive Drab for shadows and 70-912 Tan Yellow, for highlights. Adding White to the tan yellow will help with the highlights as well.
