Can anyone tell me which solvent I should use for the MIG pigments. In several mag's I have seen different solvents beeing used (Tamiya, Humbrol etc.)
Could you share your experience or maybe somesort of guideline when to use which solvent ?

Thanks,
Marc

I've got no direct experience with Mig pigments, because I buy the pigments at art craft stores for a fraction of the cost of the Mig's ones. I think that in the end they are the same and I apply them dry (just as they are) with a soft paintbrush (the ones the ladies use for make up of course in the smaller sizes) or wet, thinning them with plain water or with rubbong alchool (isopropylic alcool at 90% that's almost the same as the Tamiya's acryl thinner). Anyway I suggest you to have some tests on a scrap piece of plastic to see in which way you achieve the best results...
Ciao
