Hi Gang,

I wonder if the Blazer armor and IDF specific parts of Academy`s M60 can live up to todays standards. I can get teh kit for a good price (below 20 Euros) and plan to use the armor on AFV Club M60 A1.

Well, if you are willing to wait a little, AFV Club has announced the release of a Magach 6B in the near future.

This way you will not have to put up with the mediocre Academy parts.

Hi Nikos,
thanks for the info. I secretly hoped for a Magach Blazer from AFV Club. I think I will spend my money now for a Sho`t Kal Gimel.

The funny thing is that I remember reading somewhere that the IDF specific parts on the display model I posted are taken from the Academy kit just to have something to show at the Japanese show, and that AFV Club is making new molds but did not get them ready in time!!!

Asked about this more than 2 years ago. You might find this thread useful. (And no, I still have not finished building mine haha. It has turned into a shelf queen). Cheers!
