Okay guys I'm building the Formations M4A1 with appliqued armor on the sides of the hull ...The doner kit fot this model is the old Italeri M4A1 ..I was wondering if I need to add any bolt or rivet details to the hull ,around the boggies ,or anywhere else for that matter...I do have the Hunnicut Sherman book along with Building the Sherman by MMiR.But just can't see the details that I'm after...Maybe some has a picture or a link that could help me out . Thanks in advance .

Rick:

If you have the complete Formations kit, you shouldn't need to add much except the donor parts from the Italeri M4A1 and some PE details. The lower hulls were welded and the hull bottom detail is pretty good. I have built the first Formations M4A1 kit (the one without applique) and it was a dream -- easily the finist resin kit I have ever built.

Thanks for the info Hollow ...I must agree that this kit is as easy to build as most plastic kits out there on the market...I've got this one and the firefly conversion going at the same time .. Now I see how lopside my libary is way to many books on the Axis machines and not enough on the Allied side...I'll be working on that ...lol
I just wanted to be sure of this before going on as I want to do the best job possible on the great kit..So no bolts missing ..cool! on to adding the suspension..Thanks again
