CARRO ARMATO M14/41 I SERIES WITH ITALIAN INFANTRY is a reboxing of the old 1/35 model from ITALERI. It features decals for four tanks and a set of Master Box figures.

This looks like really good value: £22.50 in the UK, less in Europe, and you get the tank and the five piece figure set, and it allows you to dump the horrible Italeri crew figure as a suitable crew figure is included.

Nice too that with the change of description to the M14/41 they also updated the decals appropriately - no more Aussie kangaroo...

Just a shame about the tracks, which while well enough detailed on both sides, have a tendency to look bent where they curve around the sprocket. Replacement sets are available, if you can find them.

Well, the Master Box figures look like the best part of the deal. I think the absence of the Kangaroo decal is a shame though.

It is a shame Italeri did not update the tracks. Link & Length style would be nice. Aftermarket track sets are expensive. I am sure down the road, a new mold Carro Armato M13/40 or M14/41 will come along.

I can see MiniArt doing one in the future.

I recall this being pretty good back at the time it came out; not sure I'll bother with it now though. Why hasn't Italeri got around to releasing an M11/39? THAT'S something I'd buy!

It would have been nice if they had partially retooled the kit like they did with the Pz-38(t), including a sprue with link and length tracks, + one with parts to make any of the 3 M13/40 and the 2 M14/41 variants. It would have been a 5-in-1 kit!
