Tamiya. They've been doing a bunch of open topped tank destroyers with "in action" crews. (Nashorn, Marder III, M10, Archer, Su-76)

That would be sweet to get a new, accurate, build able M18.

The Academy one was disappointing. I mean, the "half rounds" molded on in the interior? Hoo boy!

The half rounds are the least of its problems.

The AFV Club is okay but needs work. I like to see a new tool M18 from the likes of Takom, MiniArt or Asuka.

Tamiya, MiniArt, Takom, all would be good ones to do this kit; my preference would be Tamiya; their new-tool Archer, SU-76M, and M-10 (among others) are pretty good kits;

Not a big Tamiya fan myself, but their kits have become better recently, and the main selling point is a crew that is designed to actually fit in the open compartments of their recent TD vehicles.

Agreed. I was pleased with the Tamiya Elefant and Lang. The only DML kit I've bought recently is the Tiger I and Borgward and Bergetiger and Borgward and only cos they were thirty bux. Takom,IBG, Mirror, Meng, ICM and Miniart make up most of my newest additions.
