Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good photo etch set for the latest edition of the DML Nashorn, aside from the superstructure sides?

Is it worth getting PE for this kit or is the general consensus that it's good enough as is?

Depends how into superdetailing you are. I'm currently building the Dragon Hornisse kit (6165) and I don't see a need for an aftermarket PE set. It's really a personal preference.

I would highly recommend you read the review in the following link, if your building kit #6166. It highlights all the errors and corrections in the instructions. Might also apply for later releases if Dragon never fixed these errors.

I put the Lior Roar pe set for the ammo stowage lockers into mine way back in the day. It was a LOT of fiddly work, but that and the AFC Club turned brass rounds really made it stand out.

I think I used the Aber Barrel, FRuil tracks and those other two sets to make a model that still sits front and center of my display case.

I couldn’t resist, so I caved in and got the Aber barrel, friuls, and an Eduard PE set. I wanted to finally do an OOTB build but I ended up going all out.

How did you align the aber barrel? The one for the dragon kit has a notched end for a specific fit but how do you align the muzzle brake?
