I see they have some new update kits and wondered who in the US carries them.

I've seen their products also but at this time the only way to buy them are directly from the company.

Ummm, I think the text on this web-page

could provide some guidance. Specifically this part:
"We start here with products created by Hong Kong Creation Workshop.
We are their distributors for Europe, Africa and the Americas."

Since they have a shopping cart funtion on their web-site and have taken on the responsibility of being the distributors for HKCW to "the Americas" I would assume that they would do the same for their own SMM-line.
I could be wrong, it has happened once or twice the last 40 years so it could happen again ....

We are the sole distributors for the Scorpion Miniature Models range. We do not have any outlets. We work in close co-operation with HKCW to produce these products.
