HiGuys,
A quick question.Did US troops use helmet covers in Europe in WW2?
I'm working on a Dragon figure and I only have the Hornet heads with helmet covers.
I do have a back-up plan but would rather not use this particular head for this figure.
TIA
Chris

The U.S. Army did not field helmet covers in WWII. The only exception to this was during the Battle of the Bulge period, where some troops used a white camouflage cover for their helmets. They did, however, use netting, which was fairly common.

Hi Jon,
thanks for the prompt reply. I had a suspicion that they weren't used but thought I'd better double check.
So plan B it is.
Cheers
