Hi guys, Heres an update shot of my small dio of a Japanese type 97 Chi-Ha. I'm real happy with how the plants worked for jungle foliage and will probably use them again. I have 2 figures from CMK to finish and the final weathering and I'll be done.

Yeah!!! I was wondering about your dio a few days ago and hoping to see
some progress.. looks excellent.. It looks like the dusty road was a great
choice and i can see the dust layer on the leaves of the plants. Weathering
on the tank and particularly the tracks really ties it all together.. It appears
that you added some undergrowth on the bank that the large plants are on.
How did that work out? Better? same? or not so much?.. splendid dio and
please post final pics..

That came out well. The undergrowth really 'makes' it. GIves it a natural feel to it.
Can you bend a 'stem' on one of the more prominent plants. They look really straight. Just a smidge, not more than a degree or two. Something to break up the visiual line.

Thanks for the nice words guys. Kancali, I just returned this week from 6 days in Vegas( Nascar and Gambling is about the only things that keep me from modeling) :-) Yes I put in alot of undergrowth and I think it really helps. Unfortunatly the type 97 blocks most of the work. Oh well this was just an experiment anyway and I will use the aquarium plants in the future for a larger dio.
