I wonder how it would react to scraping and roughing it up?

That Zimmerit looks just too straight and neat. Looks like it had been applied by a roboticized machine instead of by hand.

Think this has to be one of the most unimpressive releases of the King Tiger in recent times. Would think they would have looked at the other recent releases, and would try to be at least on the same level. They are entering a competitive field with the recent KT releases, and would have a lot to live up to.

according to trumpeter official in Facebook, this material can be easily scrapped or roughing up so that to fit the hull and to make battle wounds.

Seems the hobbyboss and Trumpeter KT and Tiger or panther release is mainly focused on impressing the market but just offer an affordable but up to standard kit. If I am not wrong: their inicial slogan for these kits are “everyone can have their own kit and Tiger.” With basic zimmerit and working suspension and tracks. It won’t be a problem for Trumpeter to make profit on it.

Don't Atak resin sets have this neatness? People buy them and buy a lot. Otherwise, they would've stopped making them long ago.

Don't know about Atack, but Cavalier had a hand-done job look, with chipping.
