Okay, dumb question: beside the two crew in a sdkfz 251, did they always transport the same 8 soldiers or different people each time they went out? I am wondering about all the "personal" stowage we see on halftrack models. If it is the same guys every time, I can understand lots of extra items. But if it's a different group every time, wouldn't they have a lot less?

a vehicle was crewed by the same squad. It has always been the norm, then and now.
