All right I had a really bad day at work so I went postal, I came home and took out my frustrations!
Check out my new posting in my gallery. Feel free to add comments, still working with the camera
so cut me some slack the colors are a bit off or look like a slap to the face. I added a couple of an M8
photo's I did a while back. I tried some others but said my account was full, but I looked at the space used and the numbers didn't jive. Am I really out of space or should I try a few more?

Ola Nato
I have first made the pics visible for everybody.
I`m really impressed of this start. This will be a very promising dio Great layout and builtup. The buildings are those scratchbuilt or are they plaster castingsfrom Manufacturers?? If they are selfmade what are they made of and how did you make them. Very good work. I like what you did on the wall that is showing the wooden planks.
Really impressed with this.
And the M8:
Very nice cehicle dude. Excellent paintwork., I like the rust streaks all over the vehicle. Great Job on weathering this vehicle. How did you do the camonet on the side of it`s turret.
Both projects show quite some good modeling skills and I`m looking forward to future projects and I definately can`t wait till your Carentan dio is finished

The plaster lath came out well, great job. I don't think it's dark at all (is this post lightening?)
The floor looks like it's a 'full' floor with subfloor and beams.. is this correct? If so, would the floor be raised that high or would it be lower?
Another question - would the sidewalks be that narrow?
The buildings look really nice. I like the layout and the 'different' style of buildings.

Very nice work there Nato, Looks to be an amazing dio in progress there. I would like to know more about the construction of these buildings. That is also one amazing M8 you have there. Keep up the great work. Cheers Kevin

Thank you all. The buildings are combination of CD and V, but I have gone to the trouble of conversions with them, except the european Two Story Stone Shop, but I think it will also be modified to some extent. I have had to create walls for almost all the building using plaster sheets that I molded cut and glued. As the kits often do not come with full side walls. I have scribed all the new walls to match the details as best I can. I studied many photos of Carentan then and now, to get the feel of a small French town, to make the comparisons of the two are very helpful. Yes, the sidewalks are very narrow. I had a hard time with this as it doesn't appear right but, I have photos that show them even smaller than what I made them. In my visit to the UK I can say I've walked down some streets where you are right there next to the vehicals flying by and you want to hug the buildings. The floors are built properly, subflooring and all. The taller building will be set higher, the smaller residential dwellings, the ground will rise up to level them to almost ground level. Haven't quite gotten that far yet, I am still carving too much to actually fix the buildings to the base yet. The most heavily damaged building is all scratch built. This is proving the most difficult and most time consuming as ruined buildings, vechicals, and such reveals more and therefore demands attention to detail. Oh! the AMS! Thanks again for the comments I really appreciate it, and it gives encouragement when this is a big undertaking that I really want to do right, this subject is very close to my heart.
