None that I saw while I was there in '03 on the initial invasion.

None in Desert Storm in 1990. The hilarity of the conflict: we had completed air superiority, and put a net over every frigging thing. They didn't have an air threat and they didn't bother covering anything.

The Iraqis used some type of netting for camouflage as well as tarps...totally ineffective of course.
Desert Storm...Filthy scrap tarp camouflage...
Desert Storm...A reasonably camouflaged dug in T-72...useless against thermal...
Skimpy fish net barrel camouflage...

Camo netting isn't just for protection from aerial observation but all types of observation, radar, thermal and visual. In our unit we had ground surveillance radar, several types of thermal detection, low light visual capabilities, guys on motorbikes who ride around looking for things and the Mk 1 eyeball. There are more things to hide from than enemy aircraft, someone on the ground spotting you and calling in an artillery strike will get you just as dead as an enemy aircraft spotting you.
