I am wanting to add a crew to my THAAD build, and wanted some suggestions as to which manufacturer's modern US Army figures would be the best.

The one thing to look for is that the figures are in either UCP (grey pixel camo) or OCP (woodland-like camo) ACU (Army Combat Uniform). UCP was mandatory in '08 and the older DCU camo was no longer authorized after that time. THAAD was fielded in '08. OCP was authorized in '15 and is mandatory on 1 OCT 19. Most Soldiers have been wearing OPC for a couple years now.

For modern figures, Master Box and Mini Art are some of the best in plastic. The MB Iraq Check Point or Cordon and Search sets could be adapted since they are in more relaxed poses.
The best for modern resin figures is probably Legend, Black Dog, and Live-Resin, but most of their offerings are in battle poses. Not many are in relaxed poses.

The only Alpine figures that fit the timeframe are their Modern US AFV Crew. The set comes with both CVC helmets and Kevlar helmets.
Airborne Miniatures has a bunch of modern US figures, but most are again in fighting poses. There may be some that could be converted, but you would have to look through their inventory and find them.
