This build started as I was challenged by a friend of mine to build the Zvezda kit as more accurately as possible. I used aftermarket wheels, tracks, fenders, cupola, fuel tanks, wire ropes and some scratchbuilding. I am really proud for the searchlight guard, as it was scratchbuilt. Painted with AK Real colors.
I can post some in progress pics if you like.

I used AK pigments. At the lower hull between the suspension, on the tracks and on the front and back lower hull. I did not add any pigments on the roof or the engine deck.

Good work. Particularly like the paint job. Does Zvezda include the box at front right? I’m building a Syrian example from the Dragon kit so need to scratchbuild it but at least the shape is fairly straightforward.

Thank you. Zvezda includes the box but Voyager models offers the box in photoetch on a single set including the box only.

Thank you, I might have overdone it with the rust streaks at some places.

Wow, you have turned the proverbial sow's ear into a silk purse. Well done! For those who aren't building for the pure challenge of it, Dragon's SU-100 offers a less stressful route to an Egyptian SU-100.

Wow !! Great job there Nikos !! Love the paint job.
I have not built the Zvezda kit, but I did the Dragon kit with the accurate armor conversion set and it went together well. The tracks were a bit fiddly; and I would consider using after market ones next time, but overall the kit went together well. I plan on putting mine in a diorama with British Paras at Suez...beautiful job though bro !!

Looks good, and I like your idea of a 1956 diorama as that is a subject area that hasn't been covered much in comparison to the '67 and '73 wars.

Thank you. The point was that the Dragon kit also needs some work and improvements (far less and cheap) than the Zvezda kit. After all, the cost of this project was lower than the cost of the Dragon kit and the neccessary upgrades.

Thank you. I wanted to get the Accurate Armor conversion for this project but went the photoetch way. Your Suez idea is one that I will be looking forward to seeing. Wow !! Great job there Nikos !! Love the paint job.

Thank you. I used Real Colors by AK Interactive. Gave the model a preshade with black and a base coat of Egyptian Desert Sand.
