Well, those photos show WWII era grandmother of Nancy. I think Nancy didn't have a winch wheel on the cargo bed and differed in many other details, but general configuration was very similar. Photos will be very useful for scratchbuilding M20 trailer, missing from AFV Club kit.

Thanks a lot for sharing!

On the Nancy it was on the mobile trailer but it did not have the tires with it or the trailer tongue. These had been removed for added space. There was an armored plate installed to the rear of the guns to protect the gunner from the rear. There was no loading ramps on the truck. It had steel plating to reinforce the cargo bed sides and with the tailgate down to extend the cargo bed. The radio was installed on the outside back wall of the bed between the cargo bed and the cab. The NCOIC of the truck rode inside the cab with the driver and operated a M-60 mounted on a pedestal gun mount. The passenger seat was removed to accommodate this. There was an Armor plate installed also in the front of the cargo be inside the head board. The wooden head board was left on the truck as well.

I have a mold for making the M-20 trailer sans the wheels to update the Nancy kit. I also have the dimensions and can get photos of the exact location of the equipment used on the actual truck if anyone is interested.

...I'm interested. Got a couple of things on the front burner's at the moment, but info like that I won't pass up! Also, how much trouble would it be to cut me a copy of the trailer?
Just let me know and I'll send you the proper dong.

OK Tread here are a few photos showing the radio placement and other corrections needed. I got theis info from one of the crew members. The truck had a few different set ups but the radio placement and steel bed liner stayed the same. The last mod known was to remove the passenger seat so the the truck NOIC had more room to stand at the M-60 gun and operate the radio. Gunnie has a lot of info also concerning this truck and he has some great photos of his version on his web site. Here is the photos of my truck https://armorama.kitmaker.net/photos/showgallery.php?cat=12778&ppuser=1742 For Gunnie's go here http://www.guntruck.com/Nancy.html

Yeah - he used mine, as did Eduard when they released their photoetch set and painting masks for the AFV Club kit. Those masks work fairly well, but I prefer the decal image I created.
