I needed to buy a set for the Tamiya M26 Pershing kit, whose kit tracks were hopeless. I did, but one problem: I never worked with these things (they're white metal) and have no idea how to prepare and paint them. Help!

I soaked them, in vinegar for about 15 minutes. Had to redrill a few holes. You can cut the pins, with an old pair of side cutters.

Thanks, but what primer paint do you use?

I primered mine, with Krylon primer black.

What works decent also, is a bath in Gun blue, Blacken it.

I clean mine in acetone,Tamiya primer and any paint.
