Hi, Guys.
I'm going to an IPMS show this weekend, and I'm hoping to find a few vehicles I can use as payloads on two of my tank haulers. I'm not a tank builder per se, so I am not too worried about the accuracy of the tank kit itself -- I just want to "fill up" my haulers.
I have Trumpeter's Chinese 50 Ton Tank Transporter, which is composed of the HY473 (Type 82) HET and the HY962 Trailer. It was used in the late '70s and early '80s and can handle 50 tons, according to the internet. Considering the available kits out there, what would be an appropriate tank/armored vehicle for this hauler?
I also have Takom's KRAZ 6446 with the CHMZAP-5247G trailer. From what I can gather, this may still be in use, and it can handle between 23-34 tons, depending on the road type. Any suggestions as to what would look right on this one, based on what is already available in plastic?
Thanks for any help you can offer!
Gary

Chinese:
I would suggest one of the Chinese built clones of the T-55:
Takom kit nr 2069 could be a candidate
Takom 2069
It's a little trickier with the KrAZ since the trailer can carry more than the truck can handle.
A BMP-2 could be an option:
Trumpeter 05584
The boxart for the KrAZ shows an MSTA-S which weighs in at 42 tonnes and might be a wee bit on the overload side.
Nice build of a KrAZ carrying a BMP-2

Thanks for the recommendations (and the pics), guys! I appreciate it. I hope I can find one or two at the show.
Thanks again!
