I think that the single elements of the diorama are good on their own, but the ensemble is unconvincing.
We see Syrian civil vehicles full of load (people returning to their homes?), but no any middle-east civilians; a large MP vehicle left open without any military inside or outside it, and probably too big to maneuver in these cramped streets; a Russian civilian alone that seems to have just parked the vehicle and looking for some hotel in that unlikely place.
My suggestion is to separate the vehicle from the base, to create a new diorama for it, and complete the existing base with some Syrian civilians and eventually some smaller military vehicle.

Pretty darned nice ! I have to agree with Massimo though. You need a few Russian troops with weapons at ready because the civilian sure looks like a big shot, a Member of Parliament. Also with all the troops MAYBE the Syrian civilians are afraid to come out.
Question... Where did you get the scooter & bikes and the civilian From?
Everything is so well done. You just need a few more things to finish telling the story.

Scene was based on multiple photos from Syria. Of course the scene with soldiers would be more eye catching and the good news is that 1) 9 of them from AliExpress are awaiting orders to get painted and 2)
dehumanised diorama with only the one guy in a suit looking more like taken from blade runner than from Syria, makes it war-creepy. And that was my goal.
Scooters are from diopark, suitman from maim, yellow bike from tamiya and the orange one from bandai.
