Greetings to all members of the forum.
I just started the Saint Chamond (late model) of HobbyBoss:

The truth is that it is a kit with a very good level of detail, with good fit of the pieces. The undercarriage is quite complicated, but it seems that following the instructions carefully would not be a problem for its construction.
The striking thing about the kit is that the barrel, the famous 75 mm model 1897, comes almost complete, although if you close the model completely, you can't see almost anything of it. But if we decide to leave the right side door and a couple of hatches open, you can see the barrel... and the vacuum inside. It's strange that HobbyBoss made the barrel almost complete, but nothing inside.
Since I was sorry to "lock up" that cannon, I decided to leave it visible, and scratch the inside. This is the first time I've done an interior from scratch.
I only did the previous 1/3, which is what you see from the openings.
According to the photos of the vehicle in the Saumur museum, the interior is painted white.
It is already finished in interior, even with the base white color already applied. The only thing I have left to solve is the color of the cannon. I don't know the color used by French artillery during the IGM.
Any suggestion, data or criticism is welcome.

I don't think I've seen anyone attempt an interior on one of these before. Good work.

Talking about the gun color, I would go with a light grey :

Thank you very much for your reply. I had seen this picture, but I never completely trusted the colors of museum tanks. So, so far, it's gray.
Greetings.

I guess the pictured grey looks to be a good match for the French WW1 "Artillery Grey" most of the Army equipment was often painted in...

Thank you for your answers. AK has its version of the FRENCH ARTILLERY GREY. It's a "panzer grey" with a lighter tone.
I've already decided on that color.
Thank you very much and greetings.

Greetings to all forum members.
The model is finished assembling and ready to start painting.
I decided on a 4-color scheme as you can see from the box art.
I hope you like it.
See you next time.

Great job on the interior. I bought this kit last year when squadron had them on sale for $17.00. I built it, and was very impressed. I think this is the best Hobby Boss kit I have built, though I've only built a few. I did the 4 color camo with the blue, brown, green, and sand. I used a fine pointed black marker to do the black border between the colors. It came out out pretty good. I look forward to seeing yours when it's done

Here I bring you the finished model. I decided on a 4-colour paint scheme. I used washes and pigments from AK and Vallejos for the wear and soiling.
I hope you like it. Greetings to all forum members.

Fantastic job Juan, it's always nice when you have some interior so you can leave the hatches open! Well done!
