You guys probably figured it out already, but it's new to me...
To simulate the rough, cast steel on US and other vehicles, take some carbeurator cleaner and spray or brush it onto the part to be done. Let it set for a few seconds and then using a stiff brush, stipple the texture in.

I'd suggest a little practice first, and it's quicker and easier than the old liquid cement way.

Hmmm...sounds like an effective method.
I might just have to give it a try. No flames nearby of course.

I have tried this and it deos work well..But practice on an old model as this can get out of hand ..I know
